The dA Center for the Arts has been providing arts programming for the underserved community of Pomona and the surrounding region for over 30 years. On Saturday, March 19, 2022, The dA is hosting their first annual dArt for Art Benefit Fundraiser. The money raised from this benefit will go to help fill the critical void of accessible arts programming in our community. The dA has provided a spectrum of art exhibitions, and art programs for all ages and all abilities to benefit our community and it is important to support this valuable organization. Statistics prove that the arts unify communities, Improve individual wellbeing, strengthen the economy, improve academic performance, have a positive social impact and the arts strengthen learning and mental health.

"The dA offered me many opportunities to expand and test my artistic and creative abilities. It offered a sense of community. The dA opened my eyes and I realized how important and necessary a place like this is for the community. In a city where programs are cut from schools and being exposed to the harsh reality of crime and violence. The dA is literally heaven on earth. All the programs and classes it offers to underprivileged kids and young adults is the small spark it takes to transform their lives and give them a sense of belonging other than that they are accustomed to. "
