It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
The artists featured in The dA’s Frequency Hopping: A Women’s Exhibition reflect diversity in mediums, cultures, ages, and abilities. The title Frequency Hopping is a nod to honoring screen star Hedy Lamarr who was one of the contributing inventors of frequency hopping technology now seen in Wi-Fi®, Bluetooth®, and code-division multiple access (CDMA). After reading about Frequency Hopping’s characteristics like multi-tasking radio waves, constant connectivity between transmitter and receiver, as well as the signals ability to enable a code for the purpose of protection; it was very confirming that Frequency Hopping was a very fitting title for a women’s exhibition.
